The Tao 8 – The Supreme Good Is Like Water.<\/h2>

The way we experience the world is filtered through the lens of our minds.<\/em>
If we are unclear, a bit muddled or there seems to be friction in our daily lives it could be time to sit a little while in the presence of nature and let go of the constraints our mind makes up,<\/em><\/p>

This ancient verse written by a 4th century chinese poet bring into perspective a different way of being in the world, where the mind and the body flow as water.<\/p>

The Tao 8 – The Supreme Good Is Like Water.<\/h2>

The supreme good is like water,
which nourishes all things without trying to.
It is content with the low places that people disdain.
Thus it is like the Tao.<\/p>

In dwelling, live close to the ground.
In thinking, keep to the simple.
In conflict, be fair and generous.
In governing, don’t try to control.
In work, do what you enjoy.
In family life, be completely present.<\/p>

When you are content to be simply yourself
and don’t compare or compete,
everybody will respect you.<\/p>
