Emerson student Miley loves her school, but the thing she enjoys most is how friendly all the teachers and students are to each other. She describes her student experience at Emerson School in just two words: “The best!”
Miley says coming to school every day is always something to look forward to. Her morning routine includes getting dressed for school and packing a nutritious lunch which always includes at least one fruit that Miley has shopped for at her local supermarket. Shopping usually happens on Saturdays with her grandmother and Mum and Dad. She loves shopping and, even though she chooses fruit for everyday snacks, loves lollies most of all. Her favourite “proper” food is spaghetti.
In 2024, Miley was selected as a Junior School Captain and, during her tenure, wore her badge with great pride. She was conscious of setting a good example for other students.
Miley is now thriving as a student in Middle School.
Miley previously attended Officer Specialist School but transferred to Emerson when her family moved to Doveton. At Emerson she enjoys playing and learning with her friends and loves science and mathematics.
Miley follows Collingwood in the Australian Rules Football competition and enjoys kicking a football, though for fun rather than playing a whole game.
Another interest of Miley’s is cars, and she has a comprehensive collection of Hot Wheels cars. Among the collection are some Tesla models. She is always looking out for Tesla cars and has even spotted one of the rare, green-coloured ones. Miley’s family has a 2013 Ford XR6. Coincidentally, Miley’s birth year is also 2013.
Miley is a compassionate person who aspires to become a veterinary assistant so that she can comfort and look after animals. Her favourite is a dog, closely followed by a cat. She really likes German Shepherds and black and white cats.
